Thom Rainier
Dragon Age: Inquisition
"Warden Blackwall"
Male
47 (headcanon)
Bisexual
Abilities
⯌ Warrior / Sword and Shield Being a sword and shield fighter means Blackwall has a solid balance between offense and defense, sacrificing neither for the sake of the other. At his base he's a solid warrior and while he might not shine in any particular area, neither does he leave anything behind.

⯌ Champion On the other hand, Rainier's chosen specialty of Champion makes him a wall of a fighter. Speed and movement aren't great, but nothing is getting past him when he sets himself on the defense. His primary focus is defending the rest of his team, and there's none better to guard your back.

⯌ Army Captain While he left under inglorious circumstances, Thom Rainier was a skilled and charismatic Captain in the Orlesian army in spite of not being Orlesian-born. He's experienced at army-based tactics and leading men into battle.
Out-of-Character
⯌ Backtag Always and forever please.

⯌ Fourthwall Not unless meme specific or character trope.

⯌ Off-Limits Nothing really. As an FYI Thom's backstory includes dead children, a lot of lying, and letting other people suffer consequences that lead to their death.

⯌ Other I am aware Bioware says he's straight but as that's a stupid ass decision I play him as an extremely late blooming bisexual. He has a preference for and more experience with women but I'm also perfectly happy to play out someone being his closet key if you want.
In-Character
⯌ Physical Contact Sure! Fighting or otherwise all good.

⯌ Mental Contact Yeah just let me know so I can give you the info.

⯌ Flirt Sure! He gets flustered easily, he's not used to being flirted with.

⯌ Fight Sure thing! He's a competent fighter and a tank of a man fyi

⯌ Injury Sure!

⯌ Death With discussion!

⯌ Other Because Inquisition is a game where the story changes depending on choices made, here's a quick primer for the ones that effect Thom that I roll with as a default (happy to arrange otherwise if we want) :
- The Wardens were not exiled
- Empress Celene was not assassinated
- Thom was sprung from prison via diplomacy/connections
- He was promised to the Wardens after the defeat of Corypheus
- Unromanced but good friends with the Inquisitor
- Post game but pre-Trespasser (he's not a Warden yet, he has just left/is about to leave for them.)
